Thinking of heading up to Genting for Halloween? Why, we think that is an absolutely fantastic idea! It’s pretty much got the perfect setting: you’ve got the hilly area far away from the city, the mist, the drop in temperature and a bar with a special drinks menu curated around this spooky and special occasion!
By the way, if you’re seriously curious about these special cocktails, you should head on over to this bar:
With an innovative concoction of spirits (pun intended) coupled with visually mesmerising presentations, The Highline Rooftop Market’s Back In Time bar has come up with four very interesting must-try cocktails, and they are:
1. Brain Worm
Never underestimate the strength of a person, or a thing, based on its size. Take for example, this small glass housing a rather strong mix of Jägermeister and Midori liquor, and aptly named the Brain Worm. You get two choices: taking it slow, sip by sip, or getting it done and over with as a shot. Hint: the worm helps; whether you eat it before or after is totally up to you.
2. Crystal Skull
Jägermeister fans who love a bit of a twist in their drink would find the addition of calamansi lime juice, dark rum, activated charcoal, sugar, and salt totally delicious. This drink serves up more of a refreshing taste, as opposed to the Brain Worm which really packs a punch.
3. Devil’s Dunny
Don’t let the comical toilet bowl mug fool you! It contains another heavy dose of the Jägermeister’s poison, mixed with lime juice, dark rum, Asam Boi Syrup, sugar, and salt. Those who prefer sweet cocktails (the ladies, especially), might find this very much appealing to the tastebuds.
4. Mad Mary’s Potion
You’d be hard-pressed to find a cocktail menu without the classic Bloody Mary? The exception here is that this cocktail comes in a 2-liter cocktail tower (you read that right!) which features essential ingredients such as Vodka, Campbell tomato juice, asam boi, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, calamansi lime, salt, and black pepper.
The Halloween glasses that come with your drink is yours to take home with you! How about that?!
